Our new shop has opened at last...
'the shop at the mill' opened in August and at last we have disabled access and the opportunity to heat the shop in the winter. No longer will Josie have to wear several layers and sit in -4 degrees all day!
I have also improved the lighting and we now stock a wider range of high quality gift items, many of which are not available locally. For the first time we will also be offering small, reasonably priced gift hampers this Christmas.
The new shop also means the mill has been opened up and is a better working space, as it is easier to clean and the products are kept well away from our little mouse friends! Regular visitors will also notice that our packaging is in the process of being changed to a new, more contemporary look .
We are now able to bag-up a range of flour and oat products at a reduced price in any quantity to 16kg (much easier to handle than the traditional 32kg sack).
Some sad news...
After almost 5 years, Gurbakshish - our very capable cake-baker and all round clever person in the kitchen - has decided to move on to pastures new, so please bear with us after the busy summer season as we strive to replenish our stocks.
